This past weekend, senior Preslee Quisenberry qualified for the State UIL Meet in Austin on May 3. She placed second in News Writing and third in Editorial Writing.

“I was really excited when I found out that I qualified,” Quisenberry said. “I’ve competed  at regionals for the past two years, and finally leaving with a medal was really rewarding. When I made it in News Writing, I was ecstatic, but I was even more shocked whenever I learned that I advanced in Editorial Writing too.”
