My name is Noah Davila and I am a Senior here at DHS. While working on stories, I listen to folk music, like the songs of Woody Guthrie, Ramblin’ Jack Elliot, and Willie Carlisle. My family say I only like music where people can’t sing. Music like that helps me to focus, especially when writing political columns. I tell people all my columns and I are non-partisan, in case McCarthyism ever comes back in fashion. When not writing, I enjoy making lists of books and movies that I’ll never get too, because I’d rather watch the Big Lebowski again. This being my last year, Im nervous about having to basically just start over but its easier to ignore that.
