Macey Hein, Editor-in-Chief

Hello,

My name is Macey Mikala Hein and I am a senior and the Editor-N-Chief of The Warhorse newspaper. Writing stories has been one of my favorite things to do since I was a kid in middle school. My teachers would hand me prompts and I would write away. My favorite thing about being a part of the newspaper staff is informing students and the community of Devine about what’s happening not only within our school, but in the world as well.

A little bit about me, I spend almost all of my free time hanging out with my small group of friends and playing basketball. Just recently, I signed to further my education and basketball career at Texas A&M International in Laredo, Texas on an athletic scholarship. Another big part of my life is surrounding it with music. My music genre range is a little crazy; I can listen to anything from R&B to Rap and even Alternative.

Adding to my music taste, Frank Ocean, Key Glock, Tyler the Creator, 42 Dugg, NBA YoungBoy, Travis Scott, ASAP Rocky, Playboi Carti, Mac Miller and Brent Faiyaz are all my future husbands. Something that I think is very unique about me is I hate chocolate. Please don’t clown on me, but I strongly dislike anything with chocolate.

Lastly, many people already know this, but if you don’t, I love and I mean LOVE shoes. Off the top of my head I can’t count how many pairs I have in my closet. The bad thing about this is all the shoes I like and want are insanely expensive. I’ll end this by saying I have a very expensive and specific taste! Enjoy our stories!
