Arabians make comeback

Arabian basketball team is continuously working and improving after each and every game. There record is currently 11-2, this past weekend they played in the Marion tournament and went 4-0. There last game was also another big win against Jourdanton, the Arabians are determined to keep striving for success.

“We played really great as a team at the Marion tournament, we had prepared ourselves all week which had the outcome we had been working for which was becoming champs two years in a row,” junior Chesney Friesenhahn said.

Coach Sessions and his players have been in the gym every chance they get, they started the season off with a tough loss against Boerne. They didn’t get down about it, the girls took it as motivation and got better for the next time they played them which ended up in the outcome they wanted.

“From the first game we have improved tremendously by playing as a team and working together to reach our goals we have set throughout the season,” senior Tayler Diaz said.

District is about a month away and the Arabians have been working for this. Everybody is playing there roles and doing what they can to help become a successful team. The seniors are being leaders and the underclassmen are holding up there end which why the Arabians are doing so well so far.

“We are preparing for district by playing hard teams so we get prepared for our district and always leaving everything we got on the court,” senior Tori Martin said.
