Coming into the New Year some people decide to make a resolution that they plan on accomplishing for the upcoming year.

“I love setting goals for myself for future references,” senior Amanda Richardson said. “I highly recommend for people to make a New Year Resolution because it can inspire you to become better at what you do.”

Resolutions can start by improving positivity, making better grades, being more respectful towards your peers and your parents, becoming more healthy or even cut out all of your bad habits.

“Saving money is what I have decided to do so that I can have the extra money to spend it on something other than bills,” Athletic Trainer, Ruben Alston said.

By creating a list of things you want to accomplish for the upcoming year, it can be done individually or done as a couple.

“As a couple, my boyfriend and I have decided to communicate better,” senior Alexandra Shields said. “We also plan to make better decisions for our future.”

If you’re the type of person who starts their day off wanting to get something done or accomplish something, making a new years resolution is something that you might enjoy doing.

“I’ve always had that mindset to where if I want something then I strive to get it,” Dallas Collins Said. “I told myself that for the rest of my high school experience, I’m going to go into each practice or game constantly pushing myself and my teammates to become better as the season goes by.
