College can be a scary prospect if a student isn’t properly prepared. A college fair helps enlighten each student on what schools have to offer.
Anywhere from tuition fees to textbook prices should be considered before choosing which college would be right for an individual. Choosing where a student wants to go to college takes time, dedication and hard work.
“The college fair opened my eyes and helped me understand what options I have from different schools,” sophomore Alyssa Ramirez said. “I really enjoyed talking to all the different school representatives.”
Every booth at the college fair gives the students information on that respective college. Many students learn information such as student-teacher ratio and majors the college has to offer.
“Out of all the information I received at the college fair, what majors they had to offer had to have been the most informative,” Alyssa said. “This was really important to me considering I want to major in the medical field.”
Going to college shouldn’t be scary and won’t be if students have the right tools to succeed and a college fair just might be the perfect place to find those tools.
