Putting on a play is no simple task, just ask Director James Reyes. It takes many people working together to get things right and there is no margin for error.
In addition to the actors, the production team is an asset to any production. It takes hard work and effort and a production team that is willing to go the length to put on a show that the audience will find entertaining. The production team consists of the stage manager, who is essentially the head traffic controller of a live theatre production. Also included on the production team are various technical crews such as lighting, sound, props and scenery and not to mention the hair and make up artist.
Obviously the show can’t go on without all the work that must be put in behind the scenes, and the people behind those jobs hold many responsibilities. The Maroon Messenger takes you behind the scenes of the many jobs and responsibilities of the backstage crew in Backstage Profiles.
