Senior Baylee Quisenberry shot her 1500th shot on Friday, January 29. She was extremely excited and very proud of her team. She used her motivation to be aggressive against Bandera and get the big win.

“I was definitely excited but I was even more excited that we played like we were capable of and got another district win!”, Quisenberry said.

Baylee scored 1,000 points last year and she then set her goal of 1,500 points. She figured she could get there by this year and sure enough she did.

“I didn’t know how close I was until a week ago. I only needed 10 points to reach 1500 and I scored 31. So I think it was just extra fuel for me”, Quisenberry said.

Baylee says she wouldn’t have been able to do this without the support and help of her teammates and coaches. They’ve all worked so hard and have been such a great team together from the amount of time she has played with them.

“It’s really exciting and it’s an awesome accomplishment. She’s really worked so hard on her game playing in the summers, working on her shooting. It’s really paid off for her especially for this huge accomplishment”, coach Jim Sessions said.
