Softball season comes to an end

The Arabians played their final round against the La Grange Lady Leopards, and stuck with the title of Regional Quarter-Finalists. Even though the girls didn’t get any farther than what they did, they played against a team that was first in the state and twelfth in the nation.

“I feel accomplished, and happy that we got that far but wish we could have gotten farther,” sophomore Elyse Espinoza said.

The girls played well together and worked hard at every practice that they had. As they celebrated their season together, seniors said their goodbyes to their teammates.

“I feel that I had a great season with the team,” senior Jordan Alvarez said. “I couldn’t have asked to play with a better group of girls, we were a family on and off the field.”

All of the girls received their Academic awards at the sports banquet and all of them received their patches for their letterman jacket.

“All of the girls improved as individuals and as a team,” senior Kendall Nelson said.

Improvement is what the returning varsity members are looking forward to next season, and they have the dedication to do so.
