Arabians force Lytle Pirates off their plank

The Arabian volleyball team has been hot and cold during the season. The first district game of the season was on Oct. 4. The Arabians did lose against to Hondo 3-1 but continue to work as a team.

“We may have lost a district game to Hondo, but we will surely fight to stay in the race for first place in district,”Amber Sliva said.

District was still on their radar when they defeated the Lytle Pirates. A 3-0 game lead them right to the top showing improvement and dedication.

“There is still a lot of stuff we need to work on, but I think the major thing is not skill wise but to work as a team,” junior Amber Sliva said.

The Arabians are still fighting for the title of District Champions, and want to win as many games as possible.

“I think we need to play as a team rather than individuals in order to win,” junior Alyssa Ramirez said.

The Arabians will need to play as a team as they face off against the Hondo Owls on Oct.22 in Hondo at 7pm.
