Environmental science classes decorate Christmas trees

This year the environmental science classes each chose a science-related theme that was studied throughout the year to use for the decoration of a Christmas tree. The students are required to make homemade ornaments  that will represent the theme they chose. The classes chose the following themes:

2nd period- Food Pyramid

6th period – Recycling

8th period- Ocean

“Decorating the Christmas trees in a science theme is a really cool way to tie the things we’ve been learning this semester in with the holiday,” senior James Pompa said. “I really liked being able to decorate our tree like the ocean.”
