Seniors become hobos for a day

As senior year comes to an end, senior events begin. Kicking off the senior events was the annual Hobo Party, which was held at the First Baptist Church on April 7.

“It was a lot of fun,” senior Alyssa Ornelas said.  “I enjoyed getting to make some final memoires with my senior class.”

As the seniors participated in activities such as wheel-barrow races, egg toss, and ate “hobo” food, they had the chance to bond with one another one last time.

“I’m not ready to say goodbye to all my friends,” Ornelas said. “I’m trying to make the most of the time we have left together.”

Wrapping up the 2014 school year, the seniors have made their mark on DHS and will always be remembered.

“I hate to see such a great group of kids leave,” lead senior sponsor Jana Dudley said. “It has been a great four years with them.”
