On Tuesday, April 23 DHS celebrated its’ second annual Shakespeare day with entertainment provided by Mr. James Reyes.
Students were encouraged to make a shirt or a poster with a Shakespeare play quote and then present it and give an explanation of the quote to their English class.
Shakespeare day began last school year to encourage students to pick up a Shakespeare book and read. It also is a fun and exciting way for students to learn about literature outside of the classroom.
With many participants and fun and exciting entertainment, Shakespeare day once again proved to be a successful event for all.
