Seniors participated in “Around the World,” a tradition that took them around Devine to a series of international-themed destinations. In Hawaii, students participated in fishing activities, competed in a limbo contest, and showed off their hula hoop skills.
Italy offered a European-inspired setting, while Mexico featured traditional foods, mariachi music, mangonadas and games.
The Mexico celebration also included a birthday surprise honoring “birthday twins” Curtis Kuykendall and Tanner Davis.
The event concluded with the Texas State Fair, where students participated in “dunk a teacher,” rode a mechanical pig and had a taste of classic fair snacks.
The event provided seniors with a chance to celebrate together through cultural experiences and interactive activities as the school year comes to an end.
