When you feel like everything is going wrong, ironically, you should consider yourself lucky. The moment where you think nothing could be worse, it could; and someone out in the world would give anything for their darkest hour to be as bright as yours. There’s no reason to sink in self-pity, especially when there are many who have deeper situations and still manage to stay afloat. In life, you can either choose to back down to bad situations, or you can fight back to find the good in them.
The best way to rise from a fall is to find a reason to get up. If you can see the positive side of a negative situation, you can find the will to get through it. You can’t fear the challenge, you have to embrace it. You can either let it consume you or you can let it change you for the better. Sometimes we have to face things we don’t prefer, but it’s times like those that make us realize who we are and what we’re capable of. Tough times test our character, and change our perspective. I think the key to it is to be selective; out of the hundred negative reasons to quit, hold on to the one positive that keeps you going. Focus only on the good and put the bad behind you. It’s important to get through hard times with a positive experience, because your outlook can affect your future. Making the best out of what you’re handed can only result in a positive outcome.
Truth of the matter is, we can’t control what happens in life, but everything happens for a reason; and although we can’t control getting into it, we control how we come out of it. Instead of letting the negatives weigh you down, find the silver lining that will lift you up. What seems like a downfall today could end up being your defining moment as a person. Once you dust yourself off, you’ll find that the fall is what made you strong enough to want to get up again.
