Devine UIL competed on Wed. March 19 and Sat. March 22 in the district UIL hosted by Lytle High School. The journalism, ready writing and LD debate teams competed Wednesday and the remaining teams competed on Saturday. Thanks to their hard work and dedication, Devine was able to win the district sweepstakes for the fifth year in a row.

“It’s incredible, Devine students should be proud of themselves,” UIL director Rebecca Meek said. “Our teachers and students have done an amazing job this year.” The participants have placed as follows and first through third place will be advancing to the regional meet on May 2 and 3 in Corpus Christi.
