Devine Acres Open For Fall Season

Skylar Blanton, Staff Writer

With the fall season beginning, Devine Acres has opened up for their upcoming seasons. Devine Acres is a family friendly farm located here in Devine Texas just off 2200.

The farm is a perfect place for family fun, live entertainment, and delicious food. The farm is also home to 40 acres of homegrown Christmas trees.

During the fall, there is a pumpkin patch open for all. Beginning the weekends in October from 10am-5pm. Make your way down to the patch for only $14 a person online, or $18 at the gate. Children ages 2 and under get in free!

You also can have the chance to catch some fish at the catch-n-release tank. You can rent a pole, and enjoy some family fishing time with you and your family. Don’t worry about having to take your catch with you. You will be releasing all fish back into the pond.

Devine Acres also offers a food and drink section, located at the front, just left of the entrance of the farm. Located at the Filling Station there are treats and refreshments including, Burgers, pepperoni pizza, Nathan’s all beef hotdogs, coffee, some freshly squeezed  lemonade, and fountain drinks.

For the month of October and the whole fall season, Devine Acres hosts their very own pumpkin patch. You can bring your whole family out for some fun in the sun along with the cool breeze. You may also paint your pumpkin, and do more fall related fall activities in the Arts and Crafts area of the Farm.

Some of our very own classmates here at Devine High School have recently joined the Farm team for the 2022-2023 seasons. Junior Makayla Breiten, Sophomore Kourtni Geyer, Junior Kaylee Romano, Senior Abby Dominguez, Senior Joselyn Guajardo, Sophomore Jillyn Guajardo, and even some of our DHS staff members are a part of the Farm Crew for this year.

Bring your friends and family out for some fun in the sun, as we celebrate the Fall Weather here in our very own hometown.
