Character, leadership, service, and scholarship are all the qualities that the students in NHS obtain. Working hard all year, new NHS members have recently been inducted last Thursday, Oct 15.
“Being a part of the NHS gives us opportunities to show the community what our school is capable of achieving,” President Oscar Gonzalez said.
Students achieve a multitude of things in this program. There are some requirements and regulations to be a part of the NHS organization. Hard work is definitely a factor in NHS.
“The NHS requirements include community service hours, being involved in extra curricular activities and having a 90 GPA,” Jordan Zapata said.
Being inducted into the National Honor Society is a big deal. Juniors and seniors work day in and day out to be apart of this honorable association.
