The Lions Club Students of the Month for November are seniors Andrew Miller and McKayla Riggs.

Senior Andrew Miller is on the varsity Warhorse basketball team and says that he plans to focus on his grades and sports.  His goal for the rest of the school year is to finish up in a good way and to stay out of trouble.  After high school, Andrew plans to go to college at UTSA and major in sports science then return to Devine ISD and be a coach.

“It’s and honor to be Student of the Month,” Andrew said. “I have worked hard staying out of trouble and keeping my grades up”

Senior McKayla Riggs is a member of the National Honor Society and band where she is a drum major.  After McKayla graduates, she has plans of going to college at UT North Texas pursuing a career and majoring in chemistry.

“It is a great achievement for me to get Student of the Month,” McKayla said.
