The Lions Club Students of the Month for October are seniors Tirzah Brogdon and Tyler Cook
Senior Tirzah Brogdon is a member of the National Honor Society, where she serves as secretary, she is also active in the DHS Theatre program and serves as secretary for the Drama Club and is a member of the marching band. After she graduates from high school, she plans on attending Northwest Vista College and eventually transferring to UTSA to finish her degree in Education.
“I hope to eventually become a second grad school teacher.” Tirzah said.
Senior Tyler Cook is a member of the National Honor Society. He plays football and he is starting quarterback and he is starting catcher for the baseball team. He is a part of Mission Devine and is on the high school newspaper staff. When finished with high school, he plans to go to college on a baseball scholarship somewhere in the state of Texas.
“I plan to get my bachelor’s degree, but I am still undecided on what I want to major in.” Tyler said, “I am leaving my options open for when I am enrolled in college.”
