On Tuesday Sept. 23, the Arabians visited Southwest to face off against the Lady Dragons. They got off to a rough start at the beginning of the week but finished strong with a win against Lytle on Friday Sept. 26.

“It was a rough beginning to the week but we came together as a team to finish out the week strong,” senior Jodee Wofford said.

The Arabians won their first district game against Lytle on Friday to go 1-0.

“It was a great way to start off the district season,” sophomore Abbie Capps said. “We really focused and came together for the win.”

The Arabians will continue district play at Bandera on Tuesday Sept. 30.

“We are very excited and ready to go,” Junior Kara Stacy said. “We are ready to get revenge from the tournament.”
