On December 8, the Student Council hosted a blood drive that benefited Ms. Neva Sessions. Students, staff members and people of the community signed up to help out. The units of blood that were donated went to the Methodist Healthcare system to benefit Ms. Sessions by being credited to her account. “Let me just say, I had gotten many phone calls from people on other campuses, Student council sponsor Jana Dudley said. “ Many people were asking for information to sign up.” The blood drive was able to donate 58 pints of blood that will benefit Ms. Sessions account. “I enjoyed helping out,” junior Brooklyn Anderson said. “I am glad I got to be a part of something simple but yet so big.” The student council hosts a blood drive every year, and this time they got to give back to member of the DHS staff.
