On April 16, Devine’s very first robotics team competed in the TCEA State Robotics Competition. The team consisted of Levi Nuyttens, Daniel Morales, Ben Gierisch, and William Nichols.

Over 59 teams competed from all across Texas in a 3 round battle with the final score averaged based on the three scores received. Devine placed 14^th overall with a score of 203 points.

“Overall we didn’t know what to expect.” Daniel Morales said. “It was our first year and I believe we did very well. I’m already looking forward to next years competition.”
