What’s up, DHS? I’m Christian Beaver, and I’m talking about cross country.
Wait, I don’t even do that sport — but they do.
I’m Shawn, this is Zach, and we run cross country.
And this is what happened yesterday at district.
Yesterday at district, Haley Montes qualified with a finishing time of 11:50, placing 8th and advancing to regionals.
Now let me tell you about the Devine Warhorses. At district, they got second overall, with every kid finishing in the top 20.
Then regionals — oh, please let me start talking about regionals!
Right now, we’re sitting at 5th behind some other teams that don’t really matter at this point, but we’re super excited and ready to show what we can do.
We really do have a good chance, so wish us luck!
Honestly, I didn’t know anything about cross country — but they did.
Hey, I’m ready for my recording already.
We could really make a run for state!
