Athletes awarded at annual banquet

The All Sports Banquet was held in the high school gym on Wednesday, May 13. The Most Outstanding Boy Athlete was Joe Guerrero and the Most Outstanding Girl athletes were Josie Guzman and Alyssa Schmidt.

“It was humbling that my coaches thought of me as the most outstanding senior boy,” Guerrero said.

The Arabians also awarded what is called The Essence of an Arabian This award is given to a senior girl athlete who possess the qualities of a leadership, teamwork, determination and hard work. This award was given to Josie Guzman for exemplifying the qualities of an Arabian athlete.
