Cross Country competes at Comfort
The boys and girls cross-country teams are working towards their upcoming meet in Comfort this Saturday.
The cross-country teams have been working extra hard to improve their times. They are also focusing hard to get the motivation for the upcoming meet.
“I’m fully focussing on cross country by running extra before practice.” junior Tristen Wood said.
The boys aren’t the only ones who have been working hard; the girls are improving as well.
“The cross country season has been great so far, everyone is improving so much and we are doing well and working as a team to help everyone improve.” senior Kendall Nelson said.
Both teams have high expectations for the rest of the season.
“I want to improve my times get better placings and learning how to pace myself. I need to learn how not freak out so that I do well at regionals,” Nelson said.
