Hein’s 57– Key Glock’s Part 2 Released
November 18, 2021
Key Glock, a popular American rapper and songwriter, has returned with the sequel to his 2020 mixtape Yellow Tape, and like his last album, it comes completely featureless. His newest album, Yellow Tape 2, was released earlier this November. When he released Yellow Tape in 2020, it peaked at #16 on the Billboard 200, and he hopes to do this again with Pt.2.
Without a doubt, Key Glock is one of my favorite rappers. I first started listening to him my freshman year of high school. One of my teammates would tell me about how much she loved listening to Key Glock and Young Dolph before volleyball and basketball games to get her hyped. Ever since the first time I listened to his song ‘Russian Cream’ I couldn’t stop.
Three of the songs that have already become very popular off the Yellow Tape 2 album are ‘Something Bout Me’, ‘Channel 5’, and ‘Ambition For Cash’.
One of my favorite songs off the album is ‘Quarterback’. The energy he puts into the song is crazy. You can tell from every single album he makes, he is super proud of it. Especially since he makes all the songs by himself. Twenty rap songs are all rapped by the same person. That’s crazy to me.
Key Glock has the ability to make anyone bop their head to the beat. His songs also make me want to drive really fast. I’ve been waiting for this album to drop, and I think he released an amazing album at the perfect time.
