After many practices and preparing for the next season of tennis, spring season has officially started. They had their first spring meet and placed third as a team at Uvalde.

“I’m very proud of the team for placing third in Uvalde,” Coach Feltner said. “We still have a lot of things to work on but the kids are doing very well.”

Cameron English and Aiden Hildenbrand placed second in mixed doubles.

“Even though we lost, we are still ready to fight to make sure it doesn’t happen again,” English said.

Junior Karma Herring and senior Laurel Spannagel placed first in doubles with junior Brian Schaefer and sophomore Johnathon Gelinas second and Brooke Runyan placed first in singles.

“I’m really excited for this spring season and there are a lot of opportunities for our team,” Coach Feltner said. “They are going to do big things.”
